The Azerbaijan Tourism Board participated in the 13th Travel Agencies Day, organized by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, as the selected destination of the year.

Alongside the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, the event also featured "AVIAREPS", representing Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), and Austria’s "Elite Tours", both promoting Azerbaijan as a key destination through exclusive travel offers.

The event brought together around 180 tourism industry representatives, highlighting Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage and unique tourism experiences.

In his speech, Florian Sengstschmid, CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, emphasized that establishing direct flights from Vienna to Baku is a strategic goal, as these connections would not only strengthen tourism ties with Austria but also with other key regional markets. He also stated that promotional activities in Austria would be intensified to attract more visitors.

The event concluded with a musical performance by Azerbaijani jazz musician Isfar Sarabski.

Notably, Austrian citizens can obtain an e-visa to Azerbaijan through the "ASAN Viza" electronic system.
